Author Guidelines

Submission Fee

We require that all submissions be accompanied with a $15.00 submission fee. Please go to the CU SURS event page in Columbia's Ticketing and Information center to pay the required submission fee. If you would like to bring any guests, please direct them to the same page.

Submission Preparation Checklist (All items required)

•	The undergraduate author has carefully reviewed all of the requirements outlined in the Abstract Submission Instructions and has made appropriate changes in his/her submission to reflect this careful review.
•	The submission has not been previously published in another undergraduate-level journal nor is under consideration for publication in another undergraduate-level journal; or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor.
•	The submission file is in Microsoft Word Document (DOC) or Rich Text Format (RTF).
•	All URL addresses in the text (e.g., http://cusj.columbia.edu) are clickable.
•	The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses).
•	Submission fee has been paid.
